Tim Settle Shuts it Down with Media

One of the most humble and dedicated players in next year's class is defensive linemen Tim Settle. Some players seek out the lime light and media attention to further promote themselves, Settle on the other hand is doing the opposite. Settle gives his last media interview until his season is over.

"This is the last interview that I am doing until after my season. I really want to focus on my team."

With one last interview before his season starts Settle says things are going great.

It's going great," Tim Settle said. "I just got offered by Nebraska last week. My quarterback just committed to Virginia Tech and I think that's great for him. Everyone keeps coming at me thinking I am going to Virginia Tech as well and I am not sure why but things are going great",/p>

Settle and his coach had the opportunity to visit Alabama and head coach Nick Saban recently and came away impressed.

"The Alabama trip was great, I went with my coach. The facilities were never ending."

In addition to Alabama he was able to visit North Carolina and unlike his first trip to check out the Tar Heels he came away impressed with the return visit.

"I went to North Carolina the day after Alabama. It was really good. The first time I went to UNC I didn't really like it because it was a junior day and I did not get a lot of time with the coaches. This time I had the entire tour and saw where the players sleep and the academic facilities. They have a lot of defensive linemen drafted."

Settle had released a top five but is no longer limiting his options moving forward.

"I dont have a top five anymore, I Just want to take my time with the recruiting process. I am going to UVA/Oregon game and UNC/NCST and maybe Ohio State/Michigan."

Tim Settle checks in at 6-foot-3 and 305-pounds. He finished his sophomore season with 72 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, three sacks, five pass deflections and two fumble recoveries and plays for Stonewall Jackson high school in Manassas (VA)
