"The visit was good," Flowers said on his way to the airport. "I really liked the game day atmosphere at Nebraska. The fan base is amazing there. I didn't know that many people there would know who I was. They were taking pictures of me."
Before the game the recruits are in the stadium with the team and make their way out onto the field before the team. They get to walk through the tunnel though and experience what the players do. Flowers said that was really cool and was surprised by how many fans knew who he was.
"I really liked the tunnel walk All of the fans were lined up and as I came out one of them was yelling my name. I thought I was dreaming, turned around and he was pointing at me saying he wanted me to be a Husker. There were a lot of kids there that knew who I was and wanted my autograph."
The Nebraska offense is built around a mobile quarterback under Tim Beck. Flowers sees the fit in the offense and how he could potentially take the Huskers to the next level.
"I can definitely see myself fitting in there. I basically do the same thing at my high school that Nebraska needs at the quarterback position. I am just like Taylor Martinez, but I am more elusive."
The four-star recruit was impressed with everything in Lincoln, couldn't note a single negative thing, and says that the fans were the best. He also noted how nice all of the facilities were and how close all of the facilities were to one another.
"It was a "10"," Flowers said. "I really liked the fans the most about the visit. I liked the facilities too. They are also really close from where you have to eat, the locker room, to the weight room and to all of the coaches. All of the facilities are really nice."
