Midlands: Class of 2016 Watchlist

Here are 10 hot names to keep an early eye on in the Midlands region for the 2016 recruiting class...

Deontay Anderson, S, 6'1, 180, Manvel (Texas) High
He already holds an early offer from the Longhorns. Good size and coverage skills packaged together.

Reggie Hemphill, WR, 6'1, 170, Manvel (Texas) High
A wiry wide receiver with long arms and above average speed and quickness. Has already accepted an offer to play for Texas.

Greg Little, OL, 6'5, 280, Allen (Texas) High
Earning starting time as a sophomore tackle for one of the premier powerhouse programs is an accomplishment in and of itself. Could be special.

Von Darius Freeman, DT, 6'3, 260, Dallas (Texas) Spruce
Passes the eye ball test. Will be interesting to see how he grows and develops, but for now he is on the radar with a freshman All-District performance.

Ed Oliver, DT, 6'2, 285, Spring (Texas) Westfield
Added offers before getting on the field as a sophomore. Did not take him long to make an impact, he had a sack on his second varsity play.

Robert Revels III, LB, 6'3, 220, Houston (Texas) Reagan
A bigger-framed, thick linebacker prospect. Will have a fun highlight reel to watch, because he will lay the wood.

Kaden Smith, TE, 6'6, 225, Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus
Smith is a prospect who may hold the nicest offer list thus far of any Midlands 2016 (Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma). A well-rounded player at the position.

Trevor Speights, RB, 5'11, 180 McAllen (Texas) Memorial
The next big thing from the Valley. Will be the top recruit from the area since Bradley Stephens signed with Texas A&M.

Christian Wallace, RB/S, 6'1, 200, Sealy (Texas) High
Sealy will continue to ride a division one producing hot streak, as Wallace will follow Ricky Seals-Jones to a high level BSC program.

Tristen Wallace, QB/ATH, 6'3, 215, DeSoto (Texas) High
Wallace is just now emerging on the scene for one of the state's top programs, but is a superior athlete with great size and intangibles.
