2015 LB impressed with Nebraska

There were no official visitors in Lincoln this past Saturday, but that doesn't mean that there weren't any visitors. Nebraska did host one of the top junior linebackers in the country.

Lakeville (Minn.) South junior linebacker Josh Corcoran was on the road to see a Big Ten school this weekend. Corcoran made the trip down to Lincoln see Nebraska in their conference opener.

"I really liked the stadium," Corcoran said. "It's huge and the fans are insanely loud and really get into the game."

The Nebraska defense looked tough Saturday against the Illinois offense and Corcoran was excited about how the Blackshirts played. After the game he said that the Nebraska scheme was a good fit for him.

"Yeah, I could see myself playing there, fitting in on their defense. It's a lot like the defense that I play in now."

Besides seeing the game Corcoran says that he didn't get a chance to see a lot of the school including Nebraska's facilities. "I didn't really see the facilities besides the stadium which I really liked.

Corcoran says that he liked the visit to Nebraska this weekend and would like to get to Lincoln again this year. He says that visits to other schools are definitely in his plans too.

"Yeah I hope I can come down for another Nebraska game this season. I am definitely planning on visiting other schools this year too."

As a sophomore, Corcoran had 62 solo tackles in nine games. He also had three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
