Huskers still in the picture

Madre London remembers what he saw and what he heard on his official visit to Nebraska. With two official visits down and two to go is Nebraska still on his mind?

One of the most sought after running backs in the nation is Madre London from Fort Lauderdale (Flor.) St. Thomas Aquinas. The 6-foot-1 and 200-pound London visited Nebraska in early September and says that the Huskers are definitely still one of his top options.

"They are definitely still in the mix," London said. "I really liked my official visit there to Nebraska. I enjoyed my time there."

London has taken two official visits so far and has a third one scheduled. The third visit will lead him north to see yet another Big Ten school.

"I have taken two official visits and have one more planned visit set. I am going to Michigan State this weekend."

The Nebraska staff has continued to stay in contact with London as much as they possibly can. When London does talk to the Nebraska coaches he says that there are two that he typically speaks with.

"I talk to the Nebraska coaches every week. I typically talk to the offensive coordinator Tim Beck or the running backs coach Ron Brown."

St. Thomas Aquinas is one of the top teams in the state of Florida and London says that he and his team are really hitting their stride in district play. "Our season is going good. We are 4-1 right now and 2-0 in district."

London has 348 yards rushing through five games. He's averaging a little less than seven yards per carry and has scored seven rushing touchdowns.
