Stewart focused on the season

Nebraska commitment Larenzo Stewart and his Klein (Texas) Oak teammates are getting things together after losing their first three games. How is Stewart's season going and when will he visit Nebraska?

Klein (Texas) Oak had a rough start to their season. Larenzo Stewart since starting out 0-3 that they have won three of their next four and are looking pretty solid in district play.

"We are 3-4 this season," Stewart said. "We lost the first three games of the season and are now 3-2 in districts."

The Nebraska commitment says that he is averaging very close to 10 yards per carry. He is also nearing a double-digit touchdown total and is also a weapon for Oak catching the football.

"I am really close to 1,000 yards rushing on only 103 rushing attempts and I have nine touchdowns. I also have 17 catches for 225 yards and one touchdown receiving."

There are some concerned Nebraska fans after hearing that another commit from Texas, Trai Mosley, recently took an unofficial visit to another school. Nebraska fans will not have to worry about Stewart being a Husker.

"No, all of the other teams have backed off of me," Stewart said. "I haven't' set up my official visit to Nebraska yet, but I have to take my ACT first."
