Nebraska could have an inside track. The head coach at Loyola has some strong Nebraska ties. "My head coach has some strong connections back to Nebraska, Marvin Sanders. He played for Nebraska and he used to coach there. This is his first year here as the head coach."
At 6-foot-6 and 290-pounds Brown has the size that teams covet in an offensive tackle. He is also playing an offensive style that is hot right now in college football and, at his height, he says that his strength is still being a run-blocker.
"I play left tackle. We run a no-huddle offense and a lot of I-formation. We have a very strong running game and I think that I am a strong run-blocker.
"I think that I have good feet. I try to finish every play. A lot of coaches really like the fact that I play with a little bit of a mean streak."
The offers are coming quick and in bunches it seems for Brown. Brown has gone from a player not on a lot of radars a couple of weeks ago to having four official visits set for the month of November. Nebraska is trying to get into that fifth and final spot.
"All of the offers have been coming pretty fast," Brown said. "I am going to Texas A&M (November 9), Oregon (November 16), UCLA (November 23) and USC (November 30). I don't know where I will go on my last visit, but I want to take all five."
