Huskers showing interest?

Nebraska is definitely still looking for offensive tackle help in the class of 2014. The Huskers were supposed to stop in and see this lineman from Arizona, but had to reschedule. Could an offer from the Huskers be in his future?

Andrew Mike from Tucson (Ariz.) Sabino is picking up some interest from new schools late in the process. The 6-foot-7 and 285-pound tackle said that a Big Ten team was supposed to come by and see him in December.

"Nebraska was supposed to come by my school," Mike said. "Something came up though with the coach's family. I haven't heard from them since."

Mike isn't sure what Nebraska's interest level was, but said that his coach thought that they were ready to offer. "My coach said that they were interested and were thinking about offering. They definitely haven't offered me yet."

Mike has taken two official visits already and has a third one teed up for January. He would call those three school his favorites right now.

"I would say that Arizona and Vanderbilt are my top two and I am still evaluating Washington since they have a new head coach. I am going to visit them in January to find out more about the new staff."

Nebraska may be interested in trying to get into the picture late for Mike in January. He says that in order to know if he will seriously consider a school it will take some time to research them to know for sure.

"I am definitely interested into learning more about any school that offers me. At this time though I couldn't say that I would be interested in visiting without an offer and knowing more about the school."
