SR Film: Newell is a terror on D!

Nebraska hauled in one of their biggest commitments in the 2014 class when Hiawatha (Kans.) defensive lineman chose the Huskers over South Carolina, Kansas and Kansas State. Check out Newell's senior film here on!

Four-star defensive tackle Peyton Newell from Hiawatha (Kans.) is ready for the next level at Nebraska. The future Cornhusker figures into a number of different spots potentially in Lincoln.

After you watch the film for Newell you will see a player with a tremendous combination of size and speed. Newell literally lines up as a stand-up defensive end and also moves inside with his hand in the dirt.

Newell has to figure into Nebraska's immediate plans next year. The 6-foot-3 and 280-pound defensive lineman could play at either of the two interior line spots and athletically he could slide out to a five or even a six in Nebraska's scheme.
