Jordan picks up Nebraska offer

2015 offensive lineman Tyler Jordan got an invitation to watch a Nebraska bowl game practice. He took advantage. And afterward he called up the position coach to thank him for the invitation and wish him luck. The Nebraska coach had something to tell Jordan as well.

Tyler Jordan from Jacksonville (Flor.) Bishop Kenny got an invitation from Nebraska to come out and watch one of their bowl game practices. The 6-foot-4 and 270-pound offensive lineman wasn't able to speak with Nebraska, but picked up an offer from them the next day.

"Nebraska offered me," Jordan reported over a text message. "I feel very honored to be offered by a program with so much tradition."

Jordan did the right thing to call the Nebraska coach the next day for the invite and also wish them luck on their bowl game. In return, he says, the Nebraska coach extended the offer to him.

"I called the offensive line coach before the bowl game wishing him luck and also to thank him for the invite to the practice. He told me then that I had an offer."

Jordan has an upcoming trip to North Carolina here in a month or so and would like to visit Nebraska. He just doesn't know when because of the distance. "They are a long way away from where I live, but yes I would like to visit."
