Cage Gives Latest Following Louisville Change

With three official visits planned, Daniel Cage gives the latest update on his recruiting plans with the recent changes at Louisville. Will the Ohio four-star defensive lineman visit the Cardinals? We have the latest.

Having already taken an official visit to Illinois in December, Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods defensive tackle Daniel Cage was expected to visit Louisville on the weekend of January 17th.

With Charlie Strong's departure to Texas, where does Cage now stand with the Cardinals?

"I'm not going to a college cause of the coaches," stressed Cage. "So that is not really changing my decision making on me going there. Except, since we had plans with Coach Strong, it looks like that is out of the picture. But besides that, they are still in my Top Five and I'm still planning to visit Louisville on the 17th.

Following his visit with the Cardinals, Cage plans to take two more official visits before looking to make his decision.

"I'm going to Michigan State (Jan. 24th) the weekend after Louisville and then Missouri (Jan. 31st)," Cage explained to Scout.com.
