"It's all set," Hallmon said. "I am going to Nebraska this weekend. I am really looking forward to seeing how comfortable I am there while I am on the visit."
Nebraska fans might put two and two together when it comes to Cypress Bay and Hallmon. The Huskers dipped into the same high school and pulled out Boaz Joseph. Hallmon says that he and Joseph are very good friends.
"Boaz is literally like my brother. We played against each other when we were younger then I came to the same school when I was a sophomore.
"He was just here after the bowl game. He was telling me all about Nebraska. He really likes it there and was telling me to come up there with him."
While Hallmon will be able to get a feel, meet the people and check out the facilities there is one thing he won't able to do this weekend. Nebraska recently lost their secondary coach and it sounds like it could be a hot topic for the trip.
"Right now the one thing about Nebraska is that they don't have a secondary coach. Boaz wasn't worried about it though and I am O.K. with it. I am sure that we will talk about it on the visit."
