Three visits coming up for Avery

The rest of the month promises to be very busy for Dallas (Texas) Carter running back Corey Avery. There is an official visit set up for each of the remaining weekends in January.

Corey Avery, a 5-foot-10 and 185-pound running back from Dallas (Texas) Carter, is doing some cramming before signing day. The talented running back has visits set up for every weekend before signing day.

"Yes sir I have set up some trips," Avery said. "I am going to Texas on the 17th, Nebraska on the 24th and Kansas on the 31st. I set up the visit to Texas about a week or so ago."

Avery says that his biggest strength as a running back is his vision. He has good speed which helps him get into the hold quickly, but he likes to make people miss and work in space too.

"I have good vision first. I hit the hole hard and can make people miss. I really like to work in space and can be a receiver out of the backfield too."

There isn't one thing that Avery is hoping to come away with from these visits. He says that he's hoping actually for something to steal his attention. He wants to enjoy himself and see what each school has to offer.

"I am really looking for something to just catch my attention," Avery said about his upcoming trips. "I want to have a good time on the visits and see what it's all about."
