The OKC Storm homeschool basketball team's 67-55 win over Jenks on Friday appeared to set up a scenario allowing Jenks football star Steven Parker to make a shortened visit to Oklahoma State. Parker would have to skip tonight's consolation game between the Trojans and Edison. We have learned that Parker did not arrive on campus Saturday morning and apparently is not going to visit Oklahoma State.
What makes it more difficult to know what is going on with the recruitment of the All-State safety, Semper Fidelis All-American participant and USA Today
All-American selection is that he is staying close to the vest with his recruitment. He is not speaking with recruiting media about his schedule or his preferences.
It is known that Parker visited Oklahoma officially last weekend. Texas A&M is the other school most often mentioned as a destination for Parker.
For the moment it appears Oklahoma State may not be a possibility, and it was seemingly a long shot even before learning that Parker did not make it to Stillwater on Saturday morning.
