Tolbert excited about his future in Nebraska

Jariah Tolbert got his first chance to see Nebraska after committing to the Huskers earlier this month. The 6-foot-3 and 190-pound wide receiver got a chance to see the plan that the Nebraska staff has for him in their offense.

Jariah Tolbert picked up his offer from Nebraska and committed a few days later sight unseen. This weekend the wide receiver from New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr got a chance to take his official visit to Nebraska.

"I really liked it," Tolbert said. "I liked the weight room and all of the other facilities. I liked hanging out with the players and the coaches.

"It really helps to have teammates like Jaevon Walton and Glenn Irons coming here with me. It will help with the transition for all of us."

The Nebraska coaches took the time to show how they plan to use Tolbert in the offense. He says that they want him to add some weight to his frame and play the role that Quincy Enunwa had for the Huskers.

"I spoke with the Nebraska coaches and they said that they liked me as an "X" and playing outside. They want a guy that can go deep and work the screens.

"I am 6-foot-3 and 190-pounds right now. They are talking about adding weight to my frame so that I will play around 220 to 225-pounds."

The visit was perfect for Tolbert. He says that the decision to become a Husker was the right one and that he liked all of the facilities and the people that he will be working with at Nebraska.

"The visit was a "10". I would recommit to Nebraska right now all over again. I definitely liked all of the facilities like the weight room and all of the staff."
