Will Parks visit Nebraska?

A new quarterback prospect emerged a week or so ago for Nebraska by the name of Jaquez Parks. The state champion from Griffin (Ga.) says that the Nebraska staff will be by to see him later this week.

Jaquez Parks from Griffin (Ga.) is a name that many are surprised is still on the market. Nebraska is a team that has been coming up recently in Parks' discussions and the Huskers will be by to see the standout quarterback this week.

"I don't know yet if I will go on an official visit or not," Parks said. "I may though. Coach Tim Beck called me and is coming to see me tomorrow or Wednesday."

One of the topics that is sure to come up between Nebraska and Parks is an official visit. As of right now nothing is set up. Parks did say that if he's given the opportunity to check out the Huskers that he will likely take advantage of it.

"I am sure visiting is what we are going to talk about. If Nebraska wants to set me up to take an official visit to Lincoln then I will probably take that visit."

Parks was an all-classes player of the year in the state of Georgia by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Griffin guided his team to a 15-0 record and had 3,640 yards passing and rushed for 1,329 more. Griffin also has a 3.8 GPA.
