A look at the offers extended and the commitments being made across the region over the last few days.
Defensive end Austrian Robinson
of Trinity (N.Y.) Pawling picked up his first offer as Maryland
I received my first (offer) yesterday from Maryland," Robinson said.
The 6-foot-6, 255-pound Robinson is also getting interest from Rutgers, Duke, Syracuse and Massachusetts.
Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional linebacker Joe Giles-Harris
has a two-offer day.
"Old Dominion and North Carolina State offered," he said.
Baltimore St. Frances cornerback Justice Pettus-Dixon
added his third offer.
"Cincinnati offered me," he said.
He also has offers from Oregon State and Toledo.
Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt four-star running back Andre Robinson
added an ACC offer to his nice collection.
"Louisville offered me today," he said. "I talked to (assistant) coach (Garrick) McGee."
The Lawrenceville (N.J.) School four-star offensive tackle Grant Newsome
continued his onslaught of offers with another from the Big Ten.
"Purdue offered," he said.
He added he has not set up an visits for the spring.
Another day, another offer for Avon (Conn.) Old Farms four-star tight end Chris Clark
"I picked up Missouri today," he said.
Defensive tackle Ellison Ellison
, one of the top players in the 2016 class, added a Virginia Tech
offer. The Baltimore The Gilman School also has an offer from Michigan State
Philadelphia Imhotep receiver D.J. Moore
grabbed an offer from a MAC school.
"Just got another offer today …from Western Michigan," he said.
Barnegat (N.J.) High outside linebacker Manny Bowen
's recruitment continues to gain steam.
"Beyond blessed to have received an offer from South Carolina," he said Wednesday.
Tennessee then turned around and offered him Thursday. Bowen also has offers from Boston College, Kansas, Michigan State, Old Dominion, Rutgers and Virginia Tech.
Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga four-star cornerback Marcus Lewis
keeps reeling in offers.
"Blessed to say Michigan offered," he said.
The one-time Virginia Tech commit continues to be open in his recruitment.
Newtown (Pa.) Council Rock North class of 2016 quarterback Brandon McIlwain
added an offer from Ohio State
. He was offered by Penn State
during a weekend visit, and is one of the top prospects in the region in a deep quarterback class.
Malvern (Pa.) Great Valley defensive end Ryan Buchholz
continues to add to his double digit offer last as Pittsburgh
extended one. He is visited Penn State over the weekend.
Four-star quarterback Kai Locksley of Baltimore The Gilman School continues to wrack up offers.
"Georgia offered," he said.
The recruitment of Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga receiver Jabari Greenwood
is starting to pick up.
He was offered by Boston College, and has Georgia Tech
, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Vanderbilt
and Virginia among his other offers.
Penn State continued to send out offers to some of the top players, and went to Haddonfield (N.J.) Paul VI receiver Irvin Charles
. He said he was talking to Penn State seriously for about two weeks, and was a tad surprised the offer came this quickly.
The Paramus (N.J.) Catholic duo of receiver Najee Clayton
and linebacker Saleem Brightwell
Brightwell also has offers from Rutgers, Wake Forest and Boston College. Clayton has offers from Virginia, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Boston College, Syracuse and Iowa as well.
After months and months of talk of a possible flip to Penn State, Whitehall (Pa) High running back Saquon Barkley
changed his committed from Rutgers to the Nittany Lions. He is the third four-star in Penn State's four-man 2015 class.
Barnegat (N.J.) High offensive lineman Sam Madden
picked up his 16th offer when Virginia extended one. It is on the heels of Virginia Tech extended one recently.
The 6-foot-7, 330-pound Madden also has South Carolina, Miami, Iowa, West Virginia and Wisconsin offers.
Old Dominion offered a pair of players from Union City (N.J.) High in guard Steven Gonzalez
and safety Daiquan Kelly
Gonzalez's offer list is in double digits and includes Ohio State and Penn State. Kelly holds offers from Rutgers, Boston College, Syracuse and Virginia.
Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional guard Tommy Hatton
added an offer from Louisville, which puts him into double digits on the offer front.
