Huskers offer Fuller

Nebraska is back in the state of Georgia trying to reel in some football recruits. The Huskers just offered Keyston Fuller from Griffin (Ga.) and he says that the offer was a bit of a shock to him.

Keyston Fuller is becoming very popular. The 6-foot-0 and 178-pound wide receiver from Griffin (Ga.) recently hauled in an offer from Nebraska making that six total offers.

"The offer was very surprising," Fuller said. "I received little to no mail from Nebraska coming to my house at all before they offered."

The recruiting coach for Nebraska had been messaging Fuller a lot over social media. The 3-star receiver picked up on a hint that the Huskers could be offering, but didn't think that it would happen so quickly.

"Coach Charlton Warren, my recruiting coach for Nebraska, and I had been messaging each other over Facebook before they offered.

"He kind of tipped his hand and that had me on my toes because coach said he had good news. I kind of knew it was going to come, but not as soon as it actually did."

Fuller is all about playing every down and making the most of his opportunities when he does touch the football. He knows that he can't be the targeted receiver on every play.

"Every time I get the ball, I try to make things happen because I know I can't be the main read in the progression all the time," Fuller said. "I know other people have to touch the ball, too."
