Four offers for Foster

Sean Foster is only a sophomore and he would fill a door at 6-foot-8 and 265-pounds. The standout offensive tackle from Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel Catholic is already sitting on four offers.

Sean Foster is just finishing up his sophomore year and he's making the rounds checking out some of the nation's top teams. The standout junior to be from Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel Catholic saw two schools last weekend and one the weekend before.

"We went to Notre Dame this past weekend as well as Northern Illinois," Foster said. "I got an offer when I was on the visit to NIU. We went to Ohio State the weekend before that. I am going to Iowa on April 25th and maybe Michigan State on April 10th."

While Foster is taking a number of trips it's all about the education of a process that will take place over the next 2+ years. He wants to get to know the staff and get a feel for the academics that each school has to offer.

"I'm just a sophomore right now so the process is very slow. I don't want to take it too fast since and still just trying to figure out what I want to major in.

"Most of the visits that I am going on is about developing a relationship with the coaching staff and also about the academics. The academics are big to my decision."

"All of the coaches like me as an offensive tackle," Foster said. "I am currently 6-foot-8 and 265-pounds. I have long arms -- I have an 83-inch wingspan -- and when I get my hands on a defender I can control them. I know where people are going based on film study."

Nebraska is one of the four schools to have offered Foster already. There are no immediate plans to get to Lincoln, but it's definitely a school that Foster wants to see. It would likely be a summer trip.

"I would definitely be more than willing to visit Lincoln. I have a lot of family and friends that went to school at Nebraska. I'm not sure if I will be able to visit there this summer. We are still talking about all of our summer plans."
