Williams set to visit Nebraska

Nebraska will be hosting a number of offered prospects this weekend for the annual Red-White spring game on Saturday. This defensive back will be making his way up from Atlanta, Ga. His coach, Darren Myles, says that the Huskers are hosting a very intelligent player.

Aaron Williams had to grow up fast on the football field. The 5-foot-11 and 181-pound cornerback from Atlanta (Ga.) Carver has been a starter for Head Coach Darren Myles since his freshman year when he earned all-region honors.

"It really is great to have a player like Aaron on the football team," Carver head coach Darren Myles said. "You just see the film, but I see him in the halls and in person and he's really a great kid off of the field as well.

"He an intelligent player. He was forced to play and to be a starter at a young age. He was a free safety as a freshman and was a first team all-region selection in a very competitive level of football here in Georgia.

The Huskers have extended an offer to Williams and the Nebraska staff had confirmed earlier in the day that travel plans were set for this weekend. Nebraska will be hosting the three star cornerback over their spring game weekend.

"He's set to visit Nebraska this weekend for their spring game. Coach Charlton Warren from Nebraska called me to verify that Aaron was set to go. He's going with some family there because he has some family in the area as well."
