Tears Talks Visits

Richards (Ill.) junior wide receiver Spencer Tears has offers from several schools and talks about his most recent visits inside on Scout.com.

Three-star Richards (Ill.) wide receiver Spencer Tears is beginning to make quite the name for himself on the recruiting trail.

With offers from Purdue, Nebraska, Western Michigan and lots of other interest -- Tears is starting to take some visits.

The most recent for the 6-foot-2, 170 pound prospect was to Purdue.

"The Purdue visit was nice," Tears said. "I enjoyed myself."

While in West Lafayette?

"I got to take a tour of the campus and visit all the football facilities," Tears said. "I also talked with the coaches and just enjoyed the visit."

The coaches at Purdue had some pretty positive feedback for Tears while he was on campus.

"They said that they like my speed, size, route running ability, and my ability to make people miss" Tears said. "The coaches said I would come in and fit just right at the X wide receiver spot but I would most definitely have to compete."

Next up for Tears, he is heading to Nebraska Friday morning to check out the spring game, and then back to Chicago to compete in the IMG Midwest regional 7-on-7 championships.
