Lee talks about Nebraska spring game

Nebraska was all over the national news last night because of the spring game in Lincoln. Eric Lee, a committed four-star cornerback, was in attendance to check out the game as a future Husker.

Eric Lee from Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian was in Lincoln this weekend for the Nebraska spring game. This is the second spring game that Lee has seen in Lincoln, but it was the first one he had seen as a future Husker.

"We are heading back to Colorado right now," Lee said. "I went to the spring game last year, but this year I felt like we were part of the family and I felt at home. I felt like I could be there right now and I just wanted to have fun with it."

Lee had seen enough on the previous visits to want to become a Husker. There was a purpose away from the game on the weekend though. He was there to make sure he was on the right track to be able to enroll at Nebraska in January.

"I wanted to do more of the academic process this past weekend and really cover the early enrollee part done. We needed to know what I needed for the classes and the ACT score both by the NCAA and by Nebraska. We needed the overall qualifications because I am going to graduate at December."

The weekend allowed for some opportunity for Lee to talk to some of the other recruits. One of the uncommitted recruits in particular was with Lee a lot. Lee said that he talks to most of the other commitments weekly through a group text that they have going.

"I spoke a lot with Aaron Williams this weekend," Lee said. "He was there on Friday so we saw him a lot and he was with us on Saturday. I was also with Kendall Bussey and Christian Gaylord. We talk a lot together along with Kevin Dillman over a group text at least once a week."
