"I found out that Nebraska offered me this morning from my coach," Harris said. "He said that they actually called him on Friday to say that they were offering. Their offer makes 11 total."
"I know that they have a rich tradition with their football program and winning football games. I know that the state loves football as well. I haven't had a chance to research much about them yet and the Nebraska assistant coach, Charlton Warren, will be here tomorrow."
Harris believes that what sets him apart from other tight ends around the nation is his blocking. He says that he can do more complete though and can really go up and get it and runs great routes as well.
"I think that I am one of the better blocking tight ends in the nation," Harris said. "I can do more than that though like go up and get it as well. I run good routes and I have good hands. I have been working on my speed and breaking tackles too."
There has only been one visit so far for Harris. He has another coming up in June that he knows of for sure. Beyond that, there are five or six other trips that he might be taking. Nebraska is a school that Harris says he's definitely considering for an official visit.
"I have been to Auburn. I know that I will be in South Carolina on June 13th. I will be going to LSU, Alabama and Auburn. I am pretty sure I will be visiting Florida and I might visit Miami. Nebraska is a school that I would definitely consider for an official visit."
