Moore could get Nebraska offer

The Huskers were in Kansas on Wednesday, checking in on a four-star tight end.

Nebraska is still looking for a tight end in the 2015 class and Olathe North high school (KS) junior Josh Moore might be the perfect fit.

A four-star product, Moore has a double-digit offer list, but is always open to more. On Wednesday, the Huskers stopped by his school to check in on the 6-foot-5, 250 pound prospect.

"They are recruiting me," said Moore, who doesn't have an offer yet. "Hopefully soon, I will talk to them again next week."

Moore admits he doesn't know a lot about Nebraska, but does know basketball players Shavon Shields and Benny Parker, along with redshirt freshman offensive lineman Zach Hannon and current Husker commit Christian Gaylord.

"I want to go somewhere I can play early," Moore told Scout.com recently. "Be like the first or second-string, press the field a little bit. It doesn't matter how far away, as long as I'm going to play, and the program fits me."

Big Red Report will check in on Moore sometime next week after he talks with the Nebraska coaching staff.
