Most football watch lists come out mid-summer, but the 2014 Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list was announced by the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation on Wednesday.
Now in its 11th year, the Lott IMPACT Trophy goes to the college football defensive player who has the biggest IMPACT on his team both on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
Two Huskers made the list in a group of 42 players.
Junior Randy Gregory, who was named unanimous first-team All-Big Ten last season, was one of seven defensive ends.
Senior Corey Cooper, who became a staple in Bo Pelini's secondary last season, was one of seven safeties on the list.
