'16 QB DeBiase on Offers & Camps
Jacksonville (Fla.) Fletcher High School quarterback Augie DeBiase has two FBS offers has the end of spring practice nears in the state of Florida. The 6-foot-2 and 225-pound sophomore is also hearing from a handful of programs this spring. "Right now I have offers from Virginia Tech and Indiana. The recruiting process is going pretty well. North Carolina, Ole Miss and Georgia are some of the (programs) that are very interested in me," said the underclassman of his offers and interest. The rising junior says almost two dozen schools have expressed interest this spring. "There are about twenty schools that have come through Fletcher and expressed interest but you don't know how valid the interest is so a lot of them want me to come to their camps. I am going to go to as many camps as I can," DeBiase said. DeBiase knows for sure that he will camp at five schools and will try to make several others. "I am definitely going to go to Virginia Tech and Indiana. I am going to go to North Carolina, Georgia and then Ole Miss. I am going to try and go to Florida, Florida State, Alabama and probably some more," explained DeBiase. According to the young signal caller both the Tar Heels and the Bulldogs have been in contact through social media the most often this off-season.
