Top 2016 QB to visit Nebraska

Big Red Weekend in June is set up primarily for recruits who will be seniors in the fall. This junior quarterback from the Dallas area confirmed he will visit Nebraska that weekend as well.

Nebraska dipped into the Dallas area for the class of 2015 to nab Denton (Texas) Guyer quarterback Kevin Dillman. Dillman will join the Huskers in January.

Offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Tim Beck is back in north Texas trying to get a junior to follow Dillman. In the past month or so the Huskers extended an offer to 6-foot-3 and 210-pound Tristen Wallace from De Soto (Texas).

Wallace has responded favorably to the Nebraska offer and immediately after the offer said that there was a chance he would visit Nebraska. Wallace mentioned that Nebraska wanted him to visit for Big Red Weekend, but wasn't sure. He gave the confirmation last night.

"Yes sir," Wallace said over a text message, "I will be visiting Nebraska (for Big Red Weekend)."

Here is a video with Wallace from the Dallas Elite 11:

The Huskers recently offered 2015 wide receiver Kevin Thomas as well.
