Pelini talks Stringfellow

Head coach Bo Pelini talked about the process of taking on Washington wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow with Jim Rome on Wednesday.

Appearing on the Jim Rome Radio Show, Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini said the Husker coaching staff did their homework when it came to taking on Washington transfer Damore'ea Stringfellow.

" I think he will flourish in our culture we have here," said Pelini.

"We dotted all the I's and crossed all the T's on that one. Fortunately we had the experience of recruiting Damore'ea out of high school and understand what he's about and have a really close relationship with his coach. We pretty much knew what we were getting."

"I think the most important thing wasn't just my decision. He spoke to pretty much everybody he needed to here at the University as far at the athletic department - compliance, some of our assistant ADs, our dean of students," said Pelini. "There were a lot of people involved on whether he was the type of person we wanted in our program."
