Teague talks Nebraska visit

The Nebraska coaching staff had an important visitor on staff last week. The combo guard from Ohio says that staff at Nebraska can see him playing either the one or two depending on the other personnel.

Nebraska hosted one of their top combo guard prospects recently when MaCio Teague was in town. Teague, a 6-foot-2 and 180-pound recruit from Cincinnati (Ohio) Summit Country Day enjoyed his visit to Lincoln.

"I was in Lincoln on June 29th and June 30th," Teague said. "I really enjoyed my visit to Nebraska. I like their new arena. It seats like 15,000 or so people.

"All of their facilities are second to none actually. The coaches are great. They are a bunch of comedians. I met Shavon Shields and Tai Webster and I really like them."

Teague says that he sees an upside with Nebraska that he doesn't with some other schools. The Huskers seem to be close to becoming a top 25 team and Teague sees a similarity between that and his favorite player.

"It reminds me of my favorite player Stephon Curry. "No one knew who Davison was until they made it to the tournament. He really ut them on the map."

There are definitely more visits in store for Teague including his official visits. He said that he wasn't sure if the Huskers were going to get an official visit right now.

"I will probably commit after the fall and after all of my visits. We will have to see if I do take an official visit back to Lincoln."
