Some big news for Nebraska fans was hearing that a Miami commitment was going to officially visit Lincoln. Therrell Gosier from Pompano Beach (Flor.) Blanche Ely is a standout wide receiver and is also a very solid basketball player too.

"I have been in Atlanta for AAU basketball," Gosier said. "We are playing good. We are headed up to Augusta, Ga. for another tournament now. I am not sure what I have been averaging. We don't keep our own statistics."

The three-star wide receiver, who is 6-foot-6 and 200-pounds, says that basketball is keeping him busy, but it's not interfering with football workouts. The big framed receiver is working hard on his route running this summer.

"Although I have had basketball I am getting to football workouts everyday. I have been focusing on getting in and out of my cuts as well as my route running."

Although Gosier has the size that you look for to play X he says that he can literally play all the spots at wide receiver. He really likes the go routes and having a chance to go up and get the ball at the highest point.

"I can play them all -- I play all of the wide receiver spots in my offense -- I play the Z and the X a lot in our offense. I like going deep and going up and getting it."

Gosier committed to Miami late last month. He says that despite his commitment to the Hurricanes that he is planning on taking all five visits. The Huskers will get their chance to host this talented receiver according to Gosier's current plans.

"I am planning on visiting Nebraska, Miami, Kentucky, West Virginia and Clemson," Gosier said. "I am really close with all of the coaches at those schools. I also like their offenses.

"On my visits to these schools I want to see the campus and see about the quality of education they can provide. That was a big reason why I committed to Miami and it's important to my family."
