The dude catches everything

Nebraska receiver Jordan Westerkamp made possibly the catch of the college football season on Saturday afternoon.

LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska sophomore wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp is known as a guy who snags everything.

After catching the Huskers' Hail Mary attempt to beat Northwestern last season, Westerkamp did it again on Saturday during Nebraska's 55-7 win over Florida Atlantic.

"It was a crazy play," said Westerkamp. "I ran a corner route and I saw the ball get tipped, so I put my hands back and the ball just landed perfectly."

His head coach couldn't believe it.

"I've coached a lot of football, but I've never seen that one," said Bo Pelini. " I don't think I've ever seen that. That one's hard to explain. To even have the wherewithall to put your hands back there, it's amazing. I've always said, he catches everything that's near him. He showed that right there."

Westerkamp's stat line read seven catches for 125 yards and a touchdown on Saturday.
