Team: Peoria (Az.) Centennial
Opponent: Chandler (Az.) High
#2 Dedrick Young - senior RB/LB - 6-1 225- I don't often call players can't miss prospects, but I think Young is one. I firmly believe he could play on either side of the ball in college. As a RB, one person can't tackle him. He hits the hole hard, runs tough and can catch. Is a guy that can be an every down LB as well. Hurdler in track so you know he has good hips and speed. Also returns kicks and punts. On top of that, he is above a 3.5 student.
#4 Quinten Gomez - junior RB - 5-9 180- If Young is thunder, Gomez is lightning. Kid has some wheels. Shifty. Short but has some thickness to him. Good returner as well. D1 prospect.
#5 Bozton Sanders - junior LB - 6-0 240- I like how this kid plays. Runs around and smacks people. loves playing the game and it shows. Also plays TE and had a TD catch. Team captain. D1 prospect.
#7 Isaac Steele - junior CB - 6-2 175- Yet another D1 prospect. Tall, rangy corners are a hot commodity. Was matched up against several D1 WRs and more then held his own. Is also a willing tackler. Also played QB most of the second half.
#23 Micah Navarette - senior DE - 6-2 210- One of the state's leaders in sacks as a junior. Gets to the QB from sheer will. Has a motor. His size will keep him from being a D1 recruit but he can play on Saturdays at some level.
#27 Joe Navarro - senior K - 5-4 130- Solid leg, connected from 46 yards.
#68 Randy Rodriguez - junior DL/OL- 6-3 225- Didn't play a ton on DL but the coaches are very high on his ability. Started at OT.
#70 Steven Bailey - junior OG - 6-3 285- D1 prospect. Thick, strong and physical. Plays with good technique and leverage. Can pull, uses hands well.
#78 Marshal Nathe - junior OG - 6-3 290- Looks like a grown man already and plays like one. Is a top notch guard.
#77 Brett Tonz - senior OL/DT - 6-3 275- Starts at RT and DT buts rotates on OL. Has the ability to play interior OL in college but has committed to Colorado as a DL.Good size now and will grow into a 3-tech. Good athlete that will be able to win 1on1 match-ups.
#85 Andrew Nichols - sophomore TE - 6-3 220- Up and coming prospect. Good size and frame. Catches the ball well. Will certainly learn how to run block in this offense.
