Foster still in limbo

Will we see true freshman D.J. Foster this season? It was a question posed to Nebraska D.C. John Papuchis this weekend?

LINCOLN, Neb. - Much was made when Nebraska freshman D.J. Foster was switched from guard to defensive tackle with less than two weeks before the season opener.

Foster moved over to the other side of the trenches when defensive tackle Aaron Curry decided to transfer and Kevin Williams hurt his ankle.

While he appeared to be the fourth DT at the time on the depth chart, Foster didn't play on Saturday.

"He's such a talented guy that we're not going to get into a situation where we burn a redshirt on a guy unless we know that he's going to contribute and play," Papuchis told reporters,
