Young set to visit Nebraska

The Huskers will host one of the top players in the state of Arizona later in the month of September.

Nebraska has a heralded recruit set to visit Lincoln later this month. Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial athlete Dedrick Young confirmed the official visit plan.

"I am taking an official visit to Nebraska," Young said. "It's for the Illinois game."

The Illinois game is an evening game for the Huskers which will also be the alternate uniform game for the Huskers. Young has seen the uniforms that the Huskers will wear that evening.

Young is being recruited by the Huskers to play outside linebacker, but has the athleticism to also play running back potentially; an every down linebacker or a running back requiring gang tackles. Young also does punt and kick off returns.

Young is also a track star running hurdles for Centennial High School. Young is also a good student who has a 3.5+ GPA.
