Aaron Williams has a big weekend coming up. No, it's not his official visit to Nebraska. The future Husker will actually be coming in next weekend for the Illinois game. He and his Atlanta (Ga.) Carver team play Saturday at noon in the Georgia Dome against Martin Luther King High School.
"This is a big game," Williams said. "This is the Atlanta vs. Dekalb County Classic. We are off to a good start. We are 3-1. I don't have any interceptions, but teams don't challenge me or my side of the field as much as they used to."
Williams committed to Nebraska following an unofficial visit to Lincoln in the spring. Williams will graduate from Carver in December and enroll at Nebraska in January. Before he does that he will take an official visit and he's not coming alone.
"I am going to take my official visit next week. NeKyle Lundie is coming with me that weekend too. We grew up together and have known each other a long time.
The Illinois game is also shaping up to be a strong weekend for the Huskers for official visitors with confirmed visits now with fellow Nebraska commits Lundie, Williams and Avery Anderson. Linebacker recruit Dedrick Young from Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial is also confirmed for that weekend.
