The Huskers added a player late to the official visitor list on Thursday. Stanley Morgan from New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine had a bye this week making it possible to get up to Nebraska for the visit this week.
"I got up to Nebraska on Friday," Morgan said. "I got to go to the team movie on Friday night and see how they get prepared to play the next day. My host was Glenn Irons and we hung out with Jariah Tolbert."
The standout receiver is not going back to Louisiana hungry. He also said that on Saturday he got to see all of the facilities in Lincoln and came away very impressed. Out of all of the facilities Morgan liked the stadium the most.
"They fed us a lot this weekend. On Saturday I did an academic tour, got to see the dorm rooms and I saw all of the facilities. I loved their facilities. I really liked the stadium and their fans. It was crazy."
The tunnel walk always startles recruits when the fans know the recruits names. Morgan is no exception. "Coming out of the tunnel walk there were people there that knew our names that we didn't even know. I loved their crowd. It was amazing."
Nebraska distributed the ball very well on Saturday night against Illinois. The Huskers were effective through the air and pounded it on the ground. Morgan saw the bigger picture knowing that each week it's give and take based on the opponent.
"I like the fit on offense," Morgan said. "They are not selfish. When they can run they will run and when they can pass they will pass. They like me as a "X", but I think that I can play both spots."
The visit to Nebraska wasn't a perfect score from Morgan, but it wasn't far off either. The opportunity to hang out with the current players as much as Morgan did really impressed him.
"I would give the visit about a '9.5' out of '10'. They best part of the visit would just hanging out with all of the players. They were all really cool."
