Huskers impress Zach Robertson

The last official visitor for Nebraska this weekend was taking an early morning flight back to California. Zach Robertson came away very impressed by what he saw from Nebraska.

Zach Robertson from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco has had a long week. St. John Bosco is the No. 1 ranked team in California and had a big win Friday against Servite plus Robertson then traveled to Nebraska for an official visit. He was taking an early morning flight Monday back home.

"I can't talk a lot because I am boarding now," Robertson said from the Lincoln airport. "I don't think that I have slept all week."

Quickly, Robertson said that he could answer a few questions and it was clear that the Huskers made quite the impression on the talented lineman. Robertson seemed ready to commit to Notre Dame back in September.

"The visit was great. I really love Nebraska."

Scout.com has Robertson rated as the No. 38 offensive guard in the nation and as a three-star recruit. The Nebraska staff sees Robertson at a different spot which is completely fine with him.

"Nebraska actually likes me as an offensive tackle more than they do as an offensive guard. I definitely like that."

Looking back at the weekend the trip to Nebraska gets a very good rating by Robertson. He says the most memorable moment for him was coming out of the tunnel.

"I would give the trip a rating of an "8". The whole thing was great, but I really liked walking out of the tunnel and seeing the fans."
