Brian Cole set to see Nebraska

Nebraska just picked up their second wide receiver commitment in the 2015 class last night. It seemed like Nebraska was interested in three wide receivers in the class and the Huskers will host another, big-time wide receiver recruit in two weeks in Lincoln

Although still listed a Michigan commit, Brian Cole from Saginaw (Mich.) Heritage is clearly looking at other options. The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound wide receiver has already visited Wisconsin and is at Purdue today.

Cole, who is a two-way athlete and is being recruited to play either wide receiver or defensive back at the next level, confirmed over text message that he will take an official visit to Nebraska on 11/22. The Huskers will host Minnesota that weekend.

Cole is holding some very nice offers -- obviously from the three schools he has and will officially visited -- and also Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Illinois and others.

Cole is a four-star recruit and is ranked as the No. 8 wide receiver in the nation. Scout.com recruiting expert Allen Trieu likes the upside and potential that he sees in Cole.

"Good sized kid who carries his 200+ pounds very well," Trieu said. "Shows very good ability in space and change of direction for a bigger kid. He is a good open field runner with legitimate speed. He has played a lot of tailback and safety, but shows good natural hands and ball skills."
