Huskers to host Mykelti Williams

Nebraska gets an 11:00 kickoff this coming Saturday against Minnesota which typically hinders hosting visitors. A lot of recruits' seasons are ending though and will still be able to make it in like this talented defensive back.

Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central defensive back Mykelti Williams is a top prospect on many teams' recruiting boards. The 5-foot-11 and 190-pound Williams will make an official visit this weekend to see a Big Ten school despite their early kickoff time.

"Our season is over," Williams said. "I am planning on going to Nebraska this weekend for their game against Minnesota. It doesn't matter that it's an 11:00 kickoff. I will fly out on Friday."

Williams is excited about this upcoming visit. He knows about the possibility for early playing time and also wants to get to know some players and talk to the coaches that are recruiting him in person.

"I am looking forward to the visit to spend some time with the players and get to know some of them. I want to see the gameday environment in Lincoln. I also want to get to talk with the coaches face to face that I have been talking to on the phone."

This will be Nebraska's last opportunity to impress recruits for a home game this season. Find all of the latest Nebraska recruiting news on!
