Nebraska fans have been wondering when a quarterback might enter the picture for recruiting in 2015. Sheriron Jones was already in the picture until he committed to Florida back in June. Supposedly though the 6-foot-3 and 190-pound recruit could be re-entering the picture for Nebraska.
Sources are saying that Jones will make some visits after his season and Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde is still playing. Rancho Verde will take on Citrus Hill on November 21st. Another source is saying that nothing has been set up for a visit to Nebraska yet.
This weekend would be the last home game weekend to host an official visitor, but Husker fans have to be excited to see another name at quarterback emerge. Nebraska is clearly looking for another quarterback to add to the 2015 class and possibly having a shot with Jones is a huge development.
Jones is considered a commitment to Florida. It was recently announced over the weekend that Florida head coach Will Muschamp will be stepping down at the end of the season.
