New staff at Nebraska offers Antoine Albert

The new Nebraska head coach is working quick on the recruiting trail picking up an offer from a previous Oregon State commit yesterday. Today, they offered a junior college DB who was being recruited by the Beavers.

The new Nebraska staff is not waiting around. Mike Riley received a commitment from high school linebacker Tyrin Ferguson yesterday and extended an offer today to junior college All-American defensive back Antoine Albert.

Albert, from Pleasant Hills (Calif.) Diablo Valley is a 6-foot-2 and 200-pound defensive back with sub-4.5/40 speed. Oregon State had offered Albert before head coach Mike Riley left for Nebraska.Albert is holding other offers from schools such as Arizona, Cal, Iowa State, Tennessee and Washington State among others. Albert verified over text message that he is trying to set up an official visit to Nebraska.
