Notre Dame offers Aaron Williams

Nebraska commitment Aaron Williams was keeping an open mind about the new Nebraska head coach last week, but receiving new recruiting interest from other schools. Now he has three new offers and is setting up an official visit for this week.

Since the news about Bo Pelini being fired many of the Nebraska commitments started to see a resurgence in recruiting interest. Aaron Williams from Atlanta (Ga.) Carver is definitely one of them that is seeing new interest.

Williams said last week that things started to pick up again when he commented on Mike Riley being named the new head coach at Nebraska. The 5-foot-11 and 181-pound defensive back picked up some new offers and is scheduling an official visit.

"Notre Dame just offered me," Williams said over text. I am supposed to go up there Friday (for an official visit). Georgia Southern and Indiana offered me as well."

A lot of Nebraska commits to Pelini and his old staff were still waiting to hear from the new staff in Lincoln. Things will likely pick up this week with staff being announced and reaching out to current commitments.
