Nebraska HC stops in to see Aaron Williams

Nebraska head coach Mike Riley has been making the rounds. Tonight he was in Atlanta talking with an early enrolling recruit and making a great impression at the same time.

Aaron Williams from Atlanta (Ga.) Carver just got done hosting the new head coach from Nebraska. Williams was taking some time following the visit to talk with his mom about the visit. He really feels like Coach Riley is the right fit for him.

"He just left," Williams said of Mike Riley. "I was just sitting here talking about everything with my mom. He was here for about an hour and a half. We talked about building the future and building blocks of a team.

"I thought that he was pretty laid back and calm. I really liked him. He's a real people person. That the right type of coach for me."

Williams had some questions for Coach Riley which he couldn't fully answer. In the end, Williams says that the style of defense doesn't matter to him or at which position they see him playing.

"I asked him if it was going to be a whole new system at Nebraska. He said that it really depended on the coordinators. We didn't talk about the defensive scheme at all. That doesn't really matter to me at all."

Over the past week or so Williams picked up some offers and was considering taking an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend. After this visit tonight he isn't looking around anywhere and will be in Lincoln in January.

"I am fully committed to Nebraska," Williams said. "I never decommitted. I am going to be a Husker. When I told Coach Riley that he was very happy to hear that."
