LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska football team practiced for nearly 90 minutes on Tuesday with the Holiday Bowl just 11 days away.

With new head coach Mike Riley and some of his staff looking on, the Huskers continued prep for USC.

“Defensively they are probably a little bit sharper than us,” Nebraska interim head coach Barney Cotton said. “Offensively we kind of reversed roles, but it was still a good day. It’s just I think we were a little sharper offensively the first three days of last week. We’ll come back tomorrow and do a better job.”
