Huskers still in it for Cameron Stewart

Cameron Stewart hasn't heard from Nebraska since the coaching change but still has interest in the Huskers. Will he reach out again to Nebraska?

Lithonia (Ga.) Shiloh wide receiver Cameron Stewart is a UCF commitment, but took a visit to Nebraska in late November. Since then though the Huskers have had a change at the head coach position. Stewart hasn't heard from Nebraska and hasn't heard back either.

"No, nothing at all sadly," Stewart said. "I have tried to reach out to them. I have been reaching out to Coach Charlton Warren who recruits my area."

Despite no contact with Nebraska since the official visit Stewart is still very interested in the Huskers. He says that he plans to keep trying to reach Nebraska and has plans to visit a school in January.

"I know that Coach Warren was just kept on as part of the new staff. I am definitely still interested in Nebraska. Right now I am only interested in Nebraska and UCF. I am visiting UCF the second weekend in January."

Nebraska seemed to keep looking for a big bodied "X" despite having multiple wide receiver commitments in the 2015 class in NeKyle Lundie and Stanley Morgan.
