Lavan Alston set to see Nebraska

Nebraska has been looking for weapons to add to the offense in the 2015 class. Things are looking up since this wide receiver stated on Twitter that he would be taking his last visit to Nebraska before signing day.

The new Nebraska staff is working hard to close out the 2015 class strong. Lavan Alston from Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure was a silent commit to Oregon State before Mike Riley and part of his staff left Oregon State for Nebraska.

The 6-foot-0 and 175-pound wide receiver was a Semper-Fi All-American and had a chance to meet and talk with Nebraska commitment and early enrollee Eric Lee. Lee had told in an interview from the All-American game that he and his father had been talking a lot with Alston and his family.

Just days later Alston announced over his Twitter that he would take an official visit to Lincoln to check out Nebraska on January 30th. Nebraska had been trying to get a wide receiver to join Stanley Morgan in the class.

Alston is a track guy and as a sophomore had the No. 1 ranked 200m in California (21.81-seconds) and the No. 2 100m (10.77-seconds).
