Bubak receives new SEC offer

Nebraska 2016 tight end commitment Jared Bubak received a new SEC offer on Thursday.

Fresh off a solid performance at the Army All-American junior combine, Nebraska 2016 tight end commitment Jared Bubak received a new offer on Thursday.

"Kentucky offered today," Bubak told Big Red Report in a message. While it doesn't change his commitment, the junior did admit it's nice to receive more offers.

Wildcat tight ends are coached by former Nebraska tight end coach Vince Morrow.

Bubak plans to be on Nebraska's campus next weekend, when the new Husker coaching staff holds an unofficial "meet and greet" for commits. Also expected to be there is fellow 2016 commit John Raridon.

Bubak will likely play tight end for the Huskers, but had to play quarterback out of necessity for Lincoln Christian this season.

Below is the junior's 2014 highlights, freshly added to his Scout.com profile.
