Bryan Brokop very firm commit to Nebraska

2016 commit Bryan Brokop is not in Lincoln this weekend for the meet and greet with the new staff. Nebraska fans need not worry though as Brokop is completely solid to Nebraska and sold on his future with the Huskers.

New Lenox (Ill.) Lincoln-Way West junior Bryan Brokop was a name that many people wanted to see was visiting Nebraska this weekend. The 2016 offensive line commit is a four-star recruit and is a Scout.com Top 300 player.

"No, I couldn't make it this weekend," Brokop said. "I am trying to get back to Lincoln for the spring game though."

Brokop pulled the trigger on his commitment pretty early in his junior year to Nebraska. It was also when Bo Pelini was the head coach with a different staff. Despite that, Brokop says that he is still very committed to Nebraska.

"Everything is all good. I have spoke with the new staff and I have already met with Coach Mike Cavanaugh. He was a really great guy and I really like him. I know we can be a power house pipe line. I can't wait!"

Brokop is one of three known commitments for Nebraska in the 2016 class. The others are tight end Jared Bubak from Lincoln (Nebr.) Christian and offensive guard John Raridon from West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley.
