JUCO DE Peter Bailey considering Nebraska offer

Peter Bailey has a difficult task. The talented junior college defensive end is considering a late offer from Nebraska without any official visits left to take.

As if recruiting isn't stressful enough things seemed to be completely figured out for Peter Bailey from Raymond (Miss.) Hinds C.C. picked up a late offer from Nebraska.

Bailey not only has to think about a new opportunity at Nebraska, but consider the Huskers without being able to take an official visit. Bailey has taken all five, but says that there are other ways to see what Nebraska has to offer.

"Nebraska offered about 30 minutes ago," Bailey said. "This wasn't something that I was expecting at all. I didn't think that I would get an offer this big so late.

"Things happen though. Players get hurt or players leave school is what my coach tells me. That causes schools to go out and look for players late like Nebraska did with me."

So now how does Bailey really consider Nebraska without being able to take a visit. Without the technology available now it may not be possible without just calling it a leap of faith.

"I actually got to take a virtual tour of Nebraska. I will be able to go back online and do more research and compare the schools too.

Bailey is most definitely interested and serious about considering Nebraska. He has given Nebraska a time frame when he will know for sure if he's interested in being a Husker.

"I have told myself and told Nebraska that I will have something figured out on Saturday," Bailey said. "I just need to do the research and see what I want to do."
