Video: Raridon is run-blocking machine

You don't have to watch Nebraska commit John Raridon's highlights long to see he's a run-blocking machine.

The nation's No. 2 guard, John Raridon (Des Moines Valley HS (IA) committed to Nebraska last fall. The 2016 prospect is the No. 24 overall player in the country.

"Raridon is a run-blocking machine. He plays with good leverage and pad-level and has excellent leg drive," says Scout.com national recruiting analyst Allen Trieu. "He never stops his feet, has good athleticism and quickness and best of all, he's mean and blocks to the whistle. He's a great finisher. When asked to pull and play on the move, he shows excellent balance, coordination and comfort in space. He's played all across the line, but his size makes him best suited to guard or possibly center. He has to continue getting bigger and stronger. His pass blocking is good, but still behind his run blocking at this point."

Here are Raridon's 2014 junior highlights, recently added to Scout.com.
